What we find given the appropriate treatment options, especially if we include several treatment options simultaneously the success rates for a quick and full recovery are very high. We use spinal decompression to actually relieve the herniated disk, chiropractic care to realign the spine and physical therapy to address the muscular complaints, along with an anti-inflammatory or pain relief medicine that is necessary. Those patients that are given the opportunity to treat this complicated injury with this multi-modal approach actually have a very high success rate and are able to get back fully functioning in their work environment.

What we found is that patients who have come to us and with a very limited treatment modality or individual modalities, just physical therapy or medication unfortunately do not get the full recovery than the patients that we see who are given a battery of treatments – at the disc, spine level and muscular level, And by  treating those three independent injuries simultaneously our effectiveness is very high.
