Dr. John L. Holup, DO
Dr. John L. Holup, DO completed his 5 year residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ where he currently works as a faculty member in the Department of Surgery. He also has a private practice in Park Ridge, NJ.
Dr. Holup is a Bariatric Surgical Specialist with an advanced training in Surgical Laparoscopy, and he has performed well over 500 Bariatric cases, both open minimally invasive and laparoscopic. He is well-known for his short and long term success with his patients.
He lectures on an array of surgical problems, and is a member of the American College of Surgeons in addition to the American Society of General Surgeons, the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons and the American Society for Bariatric Surgery.
Dr. Holup works with a number of insurance companies and is affiliated with Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ, Pascack Valley Hospital, Westwood, NJ; and Bergen Regional Medical Center, Paramus, NJ.
