Educated at The New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, Dr. Mark Hornfeld completed his ophthalmology training at Saint Vincents Hospital and Medical Center in New York City where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Hornfeld heads Vista Laser Vision in New York, where he specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology including routine eye exams for adult patients, advanced methods for glaucoma detection and treatment, state-of-the-art surgery for cataracts, and practices the latest techniques in laser vision correction. He is an expert in CustomVue eye treatment, CustomVue Intralase and PRK.

He is also an attending physician at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, Cabrini Medical Center, The Fifth Avenue Surgicenter, and Lasik Sight Laser Center. This gifted surgeon brings a combination of clinical expertise, surgical skill, sensitivity, and compassion to his patients.

Dr. Hornfeld also teaches new surgical techniques to other physicians. Dr. Hornfeld who has over 10 years of experience in laser vision correction is certified by both the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
