Jeffrey A. Zipper, M.D., FAAPM, FAAPMR is the Chief Executive Officer at the National Pain Institute with a B.S. from Adelphi University, a M.S. from Barry University and a M.D. from the University of Miami School of Medicine graduating with honors. His experience includes an Internship in general surgery at North Shore University Hospital/Cornell Medical Center in Manhasset, NY. He fulfilled a residency program in physical medicine and rehabilitation at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where he was elected to the position of Chief Resident in his senior year. He has been board-certified by the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and the American Academy of Pain Management.
Alexander Jungreis, M.D. FAAPM, FAAN, DABPN is the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director who received his B.S. from SUNY at Oneonta and his M.D. from St. George's University School of Medicine. He finished an Internship in internal medicine at Rutgers University Medical Center, his Residency Program in Neurology at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in Bronx, NY and he works in the Department of Neurology at the University Of South Florida School Of Medicine as a Clinical Associate Professor. He has been board-certified by the American Board of Neurology & Psychiatry and the American Academy of Pain Management.
Hector Cases, M.D., DABPN is a Medical Director with a B.A. from Cornell University and a M.D. at the Universidad Central Del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at Cabrini Medical Center in New York, NY, a Residency program in neurology at New York University Medical Center in New York, NY. He has been board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Pain Medicine, the American Academy of Pain Management and the American Board of Pain Medicine. He is a Clinical associate professor at The University of South Florida School of Medicine and works in the Department of Neurology.
Michael Baskin, M.D. FAAPM & R, DAAPM is a Medical Director with a B.A. from New York University and a M.D. from Ross University School of Medicine. His experience includes the completion of an Internship in Internal Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and a Residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry where he served as chief resident. He finished a Fellowship program in Interventional Pain Management at Florida Spine Institute. Dr. Baskin is board-certified by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Academy of Pain Management and the American Board of Pain Medicine.
Anthony Afong, M.D. DAAPM&R is the Medical Director of the Port St. Lucie Facility. He obtained his B.S. from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and his M.D. at the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine in Tampa, FL. Dr. Afong has an Internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT and a Residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Baylor College of Medicine in Baylor, TX under his belt. He is board-certified by the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and the American Academy of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
Jess Salinas, Jr., M.D. is the Medical Director of the Lake Mary Office and finished his undergraduate education with a B.S. Cum Laude in Biology at the University of North Florida and went to Medical School at the Fatima College of Medicine in the Philippines. He completed his Internship and Residency at the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the Loyola University Medical Center where he became Chief Resident. He finished his Externship in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York NY. Dr. Salinas's fellowship was in Interventional Pain Medicine at the Adirondack Interventional Physiatry in Plattsburg NY.
Alex Khromov, M.D. is a staff physician who received his B.S. at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and his M.D. at Saint George's University of Medicine in Grenada, WI. His experience includes a Residency at the JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ and one at the Albert Einstein Montefiore Hospital in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Ervin Bernotus, M.D. FAAPM & R, DAAPM is a Medical Director who gained his B.A. from California State University, his B.S. and D.C. from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic Medicine and his M.D. from Ross University School of Medicine. His experience comes from his Internship in general surgery at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA, a residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UCLA Medical Center where he served as chief resident. He also completed a Fellowship program in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine at Harvard University School of Medicine. The American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Academy of Pain Management have both board-certified him.
