Lawrence Hospital Center

Lawrence Hospital Center (LHC) has opened its new Women's Imaging Center. The unit, housed within the Radiology department is a warm and inviting space offering diagnostic services just for women. Now, female patients can relax in their own waiting area while they prepare for a procedure. And, the Women's Imaging Center has its own private dressing rooms with lockers to help make your visit more comfortable.

The Center offers a variety of Radiological services including Digital Mammography with Computer Assisted Device (CAD); Breast and Ob/Gyn Ultrasound; Bone Density testing; and Digital Stereotactic Biopsy. In addition, Lawrence has trained technologists and board-certified Radiologists on staff to read patients' images.

At Lawrence, the Women's Imaging Center promises to reduce waiting times and provide patients with more access to Radiologists and their findings. Also, staff will soon be able to perform breast MRI and MRI guided breast biopsies.
