She also took a course in High Risk Pregnancy Massage through the Advanced Studies Curriculum at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. Laruen specializes in women's issues, particularly prenatal and infant massage; she incorporates Swedish, Deep Tissue, and sports massage as well.
Here is what some of Lauren's clients said:
"Lauren gives the most professional, effective massage that I have ever had. She is knowledgeable, competent, and compassionate. She takes the time to learn about your body and what areas need extra attention. Lauren approaches each massage based on that information as well as current issues, so that no two massages are exactly the same. With a regular weekly or monthly massage, I have noticed considerable relief of aches and pains and a general feeling of peace. I always look forward to her massages."
9 Year Client of Laurens
I first started seeking massage therapy with Lauren during my pregnancy and don't know how I could have gotten through the pregnancy without her. Her knowledge of prenatal massage, holistic approach, and cheerful bedside manner helped me to get through the amazing rollercoaster ride of pregnancy. After our son was born Lauren trained my husband on infant massage, which turned out to be a great bonding experience for him and our son.
