Raj Murali, M.D., F.A.C.S

Raj Murali, M.D has been in neurosurgical practice in the New York area for over 30 years. He was trained by Dr. Joseph Ransohoff at NYU medical center and Professor John Gillingham at the University of Edinburgh, U.K. He is board certified. He has performed over 10,000 surgical procedures. His subspecialty expertise includes the management of brain aneurysms, arterio venous malformations, skull base surgery, acoustic neuromas, pituitary tumors, brain tumors, trigeminal neuralgia, peripheral nerve disorders and hydrocephalus. He is a member of most of the leading neurosurgical organizations including the Society of neurological surgeons. He is a Fellow of the Royal college of surgeons of England, Edinburgh and Canada. He has lectured all over the world. He has over 70 publications. He has authored a text book on trigeminal neuralgia and has been a principal investigator of clinical studies. He has trained over 40 neurosurgical residents. He has been in the best doctors list of New York magazine for over 10 years and is also featured in the best doctors by the Castle Connolly guide. He has offices in Westchester, St. Vincent's hospital, New York and New York eye and ear infirmary, New York.

Kaushik Das, MD

Kaushik Das, MD is currently the Associate Professor of New York Medical College. He completed his Fellowship in Spine Surgery at the Barrow Neurological Institute. He specializes in Neuro-Oncology, Spine Surgery and Stereotactic Radiosurgery.

Dr. P. Charles Garell, MD

Dr. P. Charles Garell, MD is the Director of Functional Neurosurgery of the Dept. of Neurosurgery. He gained his undergraduate degree at Cornell University, his Graduate degree at Universite de Grenoble and completed his Post Graduate Studies at the University of Iowa. He has a passion for neuroscience and his subspecialty is in Functional Neurosurgery. Dr. Garell, who recently joined the Department, has a grant from the National Institutes of Health to study auditory physiology in the cerebral cortex and the development of an auditory cortical prosthesis.
