Dr. Sheldon S. Zinberg has an solid educational and medical background. He recieved a B.A. from Seton Hall University. Upon graduating he recieved the Cooper Alloy scholarship for academic achievement which served to allow him to attend the Philadelphia college of osteopathy where he passed with honors. He completed a three-year residency in internal medicine followed by a three year research fellowship in clinical gastroenterology at Los Angeles County Hospital. He has practiced medicine in Private for over 35 years and served as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at two universities. In the course of his life he as served as the president of serveral prestigious organizations and been the recipient of many awards and honors.
