Historic Cancer Study at Lawrence Hospital

Please click the link below to read about a historic cancer study that Lawrence Hospital Center is participating in. Lawrence’s Chief of Oncology, Anthony Provenzano, MD is quoted in the article and will participate in a news conference later today to discuss the study. Tim Hughes, Vice President of Business Development and Kate Gutekunst, Oncology Navigator will also be there.

On November 7th from Noon to 4pm, Lawrence Hospital Center will be a testing site for the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Prevention Study – 3. We are seeking volunteers to participate in the study as well as clinicians who can assist with testing. Study participants must be between the ages of 30 and 65 and have never been diagnosed with cancer. To sign up to participate, visit www.cps3westchester.org or call 1-888-604-5888. For staffers who would like to help out that day, contact Kate Gutekunst, RN at ext. 5997.
