Dr. Jose Maccera

Dr. Jose Maccera has a wealth of experience in Laboratory Medicine and Anatomic Pathology that he draws from to make the most accurate diagnoses. He operates out of the state of the art Lawrence Hospital Center in New York City and will work with you every step of the way in treating the source of your disorders within the confines of a comfortable medical center.
Dr. Maccera is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and has an extensive medical background. After beginning his medical career as a lab supervisor at the Laboratories Clinicos Automatizados in Quiroz, Lima, Peru, he went on to complete his post graduate training before becoming a staff pathologist at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, New York in 1981. Dr. Maccera worked his way from the associate director at Joint Laboratories Spencer and City Hospitals in 1983 to his current position as the President of the Bronzville Pathology Associates and Director of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Lawrence Hospital Center, Bronxville, New York in 1993.
