After receiving his Doctor of Medicine and General Surgery Residency from the University of San Marcos, Peru, Dr. Otoya went on to become a research Fellow at the Univesity of Miami School of Medicine Center for Blood Disease. He has completed fellowships in oncology and hematology at the St. Francis Hospital and Northwestern University in Illinois. Currently, Dr. Otoya is a member of many organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Florida Society of Hematology and many more.
