Endocrine Surgery in Westchester, New York

The Lawrence Hospital Center for Advanced Surgery in Westchester, New York has extensive experience in treatments for disorders of the pituitary, thyroid, adrenal and pancreatic glands, including endocrine surgery. Call today to request a consultation and learn more about what we have to offer.

Endocrine cancers affect more than 35,000 people in the U.S. annually. Endocrine surgery removes cancerous tumors that afflict the pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and pancreatic glands. It may also be used to treat benign (non-cancerous) endocrine disorders such as thyroid nodules or goiters.

At the head of our endocrine surgery team is Dr. Leaque Ahmed, MD, FACS. Dr. Ahmed is board certified, and experienced in endocrine surgery. He received his training at Columbia University Medical Center, and is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He specializes in minimmally invasive thyroid, parathyroid, and pancreatic surgeries. Whenever possible, minimally invasive procedures are used to reduce risk of infection, reduce the time of hospitalization, and facilitate a quicker recovery.

Your health is Lawrence Hospital's top priority. For more information concerning advanced treatment methods in endocrine surgery, or for an initial consultation with a specialist, contact the Lawrence Hospital Center for Advanced Surgery in Westchester, New York.
