Yan Katsnelson, MD is an experienced cardiac surgeon who offers a number of minimally invasive procedures for cardiac surgery. He practices in Grove Village, Illinois outside of Chicago. Dr. Yan Katsnelson is a highly-skilled expert in cardiac surgery. He completed his training at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and served as an attending Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon at the University of Chicago. Dr. Katsnelson's clinical interests include minimally-invasive aortic and mitral valve surgery, complex aortic operations, re-operative coronary and valve surgery, and beating-heart (off-pump) bypass surgery. His research interests are in the fields of mitral valve repair and ventricular assist devices.
