Dr. Hoisington completed his Foot & Ankle Fellowship at Allegheny University Medical Center, fulfilled his Orthopedic Residency at Montefiore Medical Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY, where he was also a Surgical Intern. He gained his Bachelor of Arts at Harvard University and his Medical Degree at Albany Medical College.

Dr. Hoisington is a member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, Health Volunteers Overseas, the American Medical Association and the Harvard Club of New York City. He has also been the Director of the Orthopedic Club at Albany Medical College.
