He completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri and a Residency in Anesthesiology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He has been Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Academy of Pain Management. He has medical licenses in California, Florida and Nevada..
