He has a dual fellowship; one in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery at Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon and another in Sports Medicine and Shoulder at Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center. He is respected in sports medicine surgical techniques and sports injury treatment. His written work has been published in important medical journals such as the American Journal of Sports Medicine and the American Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery in 2001.
