He had also undergone a 6 year residency in maxillofacial and reconstructive surgery and he served as a chief resident of Long Island Jewish Hospital, SUNY Stony Brook Hospital, and the VA Hospital in Northport. He then finished his general surgery training as well as a fellowship in cosmetic surgery of the face, body, and breast.
