Dr. Cohen trained at Harvard University Medical School until 1990 and then completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA in 1991. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA in 1993. He received his fellowship training in Gastroenterology at UCLA, Los Angeles, CA in 1995. Dr. Cohen also underwent fellowship training in Intervention Therapeutic Endoscopy at the Wellesley Hospital, Toronto, Ontario in 1996. He is a member of the NYSGE, ASGE, AGA and ACG. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine Diplomate, Subspecialty of Gastroenterology. Dr. Cohen has privileges at Bellevue Medical Center and New York University Tisch Hospital in New York, NY. Dr. Cohen has over ten years in private practice and is highly-qualified and board-certified because he always updates his technology.
