
Dr. William N. Levine, M.D.
Dr. Levine joined the department in 1998 and is the Residency Program Director. He serves as the Director of Sports Medicine, Assistant Director for the Center for Shoulder, Elbow and Sports Medicine, and is the Head Team Physician for Columbia University. At Columbia, he specializes in shoulder and elbow surgery, sports medicine and arthroscopy of all joints, and arthroscopic and reconstructive knee surgery. He is a former tennis professional and high school state champion. He lives with his wife and two daughters in New York.
In 2006, Dr. Levine was just named Deputy Editor of the Shoulder and Elbow section of the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (JAAOS).
