Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Southwestern Regional Medical Center (Southwestern) houses some of the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic resources in cancer treatment, which are now available to patients seven days a week.
This CTCA cancer hospital offers sophisticated imaging technology, including wide-bore CT fluoroscopy, PET/CT scanning, MRI, ultrasound imaging, and mammography, a 24–hour chemotherapy infusion center and a world-class interventional pulmonology program.
Our Lung Center team performs navigational and fluorescence bronchoscopy procedures. Our Radiation Oncology Department offers innovative radiation technologies, including IMRT, IGRT, TomoTherapy®, RapidArc®, TheraSphere®, APBI, HDR brachytherapy, and Calypso® 4D Localization System™.
Southwestern is also the first medical center in Oklahoma to offer hyperthermia. With this FDA-approved treatment, therapeutic heat is applied in conjunction with radiation to destroy tumors.
As a patient at Southwestern, you will also have access to inpatient and outpatient services, a Nutrition Department, Naturopathic Medicine Department, Oncology Rehabilitation Department, and an on-site Pharmacy/Nutrition Shoppe. An image consultant is available in our full-service beauty salon for advice on hair replacement therapy and natural beauty products.
We also have a Mind-Body Medicine Department, which provides stress management, relaxation therapy and private, family and group psychological counseling. We have chaplains on staff who provide spiritual support upon request.
In addition, Southwestern houses a modern, self-service style dining room, in which we offer specially-prepared meals, including organic produce and natural meats for a wholesome, balanced diet. You and your family will also have access to a variety of activities for cancer patients, outings and educational classes.
For the convenience of patients who come to our cancer hospital from outside of Tulsa, we offer comfortable guest rooms within the facility, or suggestions for nearby lodging at discounted rates. Our Transportation Department will coordinate the details with you to bring you to and from the hospital.
