About Dr. Daniel J. Herera, M.D.
As both a licensed physician and a certified chiropractor, Dr. Daniel Herera brings a distinctive perspective to his medical practice. Unlike most medical doctors Dr. Herera truly understands what it means to have a hands-on approach to treating his patients.
Most physicians examine a patient with an array of diagnostic tests. While that does provide important information, it does not provide the information a true healer gains when he or she actually touches and works with a patient. As a chiropractor Dr. Herera has worked with hundreds of patients directly, hands on, helping them reach their optimal states of health naturally. As a physician, Dr. Herera is also aware of the importance of allopathic mainstream medicine and how it can dramatically impact an ailing patient, relieving acute symptoms and conditions.
Dr. Herera received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic where he received the President’s Outstanding Leadership Award. After years of working on the West Coast, Dr. Herera married and moved to the East Coast. At that point he decided to expand his medical education and attended medical school at the St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. The innovative program allowed him to complete his medical training at the prestigious Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Program at New York’s Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. He is also a member of the Diplomate American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Fellow American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Herera offers a matchless form of medicine – one that combines the wisdom of letting a patient’s natural healing process work alongside modern medicine’s scientific breakthroughs and insights.
